The INSPÉ of Limoges, the institute that trains teachers
Each year the INSPÉ welcomes on the Vanteaux campus the students heading into teaching and education — many come from elsewhere and look for quiet accommodation for the start of the year and to prepare their exams.
The INSPÉ of the Limoges academy (National Higher Institute for Teaching and Education), part of the University of Limoges, trains future primary school teachers, secondary school teachers and educational advisers (CPE). Students prepare the MEEF Master's (Teaching, Education and Training) and the French teaching exams (CRPE, CAPES, CAPEPS, CAPLP).
👉 ESPE or INSPÉ? It is the same institute: since the 2019 law, the ESPE (Higher Schools of Teaching and Education) were renamed INSPÉ. If you are searching for "ESPE Limoges accommodation", this is the current INSPÉ, 209 boulevard de Vanteaux.
The institute is on the Vanteaux campus (Condorcet building), south-west of Limoges — the same area as the FLSH, the IFSI, ILFOMER and ENSAD: a busy student setting that is nonetheless residential and leafy, ideal for the personal study the exams demand.

For a MEEF Master's student, living in Vanteaux or right nearby means reaching the institute on foot — and having a quiet setting to revise, prepare the orals and easily reach the schools where placements take place.
The Vanteaux district, south-west of Limoges, is one of the most sensible areas for INSPÉ students. It combines residential calm, green spaces, local shops and good bus links to the city centre, the schools and the Bénédictins station. It is also one of the city's best-value areas — Limoges remaining one of the most affordable university cities in France.
Begip, a local agency in Limoges for over 35 years, manages a large portfolio of homes in and around Vanteaux: furnished or unfurnished studios and small flats, suited to the pace and budget of a MEEF Master's student. The team supports every tenant from the viewing to the handover of keys, and advises on CAF procedures.
